It should have been obvious
43Things, 43Places, and soon 43People. Josh Peterson explains:
Early on when we started brainstorming the idea for 43 Things we came up with the triumvirate of 43: people, places, & things. We decided to start with 43 Things as it was the most unique and out there part of the trio. We were fascinated with the way identity is constructed by our desires – the things we want to do, places we want to go, and the people we want to meet.
The Robot Co-Op has been producing some of the most novel and interesting social sites this year, but I can’t help but think that their 2.0 products - when we start to see a blending of people/places/things, or a single profile (identity?) page for my people/places/things - will be the revolutionary ones. But you have to believe that any company naming their releases after My Little Ponies is going to do great things.
