Crack Sci-Fi’s Womb, All Cylons Spill at Once, That Makes Ungrateful Man
I love that in Television Without Pity’s recaplet of the Battlestar Galactica season finale, Jacob posits that the breaking of the fourth wall during the nuclear explosion (when it expands so far that it hits the docu-camera and breaks the lens) is the symbolic of how the rest of the episode is about breaking down the audience’s every expectation about the show in some fundamental way. I sorta forgot that it happened, in the “OMFG!!”-ness of the rest of the episode, but it’s kinda brilliant.
