Rail-ing headaches
The Skunks of Los Feliz explains why the Expo Light Rail edging its way closer to reality is only a half-win for public transport in LA: it provides public transit from downtown to Culver City, but way too far south to significantly help traffic on the 10. Further complicating matter, its construction would be a dozen nails in the coffin of the far-more-desireable Red Line extension, which has recently been showing signs of life. I fear that it’s just politiking forcing the second-best-option on the table to the front.
