Flaming Sci-Fi Bootcamp Mafioso

At this point, it’s clear that Barry’s Bootcamp is either one of two things:

  • A front for the Gay Mafia.

evidence: Today my class was attended by not only one of my freshmen year roommates, but also one of the guys I met with at here.)

  • A testbed for Barry’s experiments on bio-engineered treadmills, who answer only to Barry’s telepathic commands, and which are being grown in goopy pods in the parking garage for the coming War on Slackers.

evidence: Erwin’s tentative experiments with The Treadmill In The Corner, which defys all user control.

Either way, we’re in the second week of the second month, and clearly something is up.

  2. No, I’m in the 6:35 class. There’s been a lot of mixing of the classes lately, methinks. I *feel* great, but I don’t look much different…yet. I’m being patient, and upping the weights and the speed every week. Hopefully we’ll be able to outrun those treadmills by the time they’re unleashed.
