SXSW

I’m headed to the South by Southwest Interactive festival next week, hence the general site cleanup and the appearance of my day time and night time SXSW schedules in the sidebar. As you can see, I’m way over booked, but things will shake out after I’ve had a chance to whittle down the schedule (I’m thinking on the plane, at this point). I’m really excited to be going after all these years, having committed rather spur-of-the moment to join some ITP friends and meet some people I’ve been chatting with. I get in Friday night, and leave the following Thursday. Get in touch if you’ll be around Austin next week.

PS - Clay says to watch i’m in like with you, which he (probably rightly) thinks is going to explode at SXSW. I don’t have an invite yet (hint hint), but it’s social networking in a faux-commercial situation - you’ve got to bid and offer something (as “games”, which I think might be the wrong word) to communicate with people. Social transaction costs brought to the forefront…interesting.

PPS - Well that didn’t work. Google Calendar embedding won’t let me share a calendar that’s been subscribed to from somewhere else, so no one but me could see it. I’ll leave up the Upcoming schedule, but my daytime schedule is down until I can sort it out.
